Everyone says that relationships “take work,” or “are work.” Has anyone told you how to do that “work?” Or… what, exactly, is the “work?”
We teach you the skills you need to “work” on your relationships in one weekend!
Based on the work of Terry Real, The Essential Relationship Skills Bootcamp is a 2-day, rigorous training on the skills necessary to engage in the hard work of transforming relationships, with your partner, your family, and yourself, for people who are unsure of what it means to “do the work”.
Using a mixture of large-group learning, small-group interaction, and personal reflection, the Essential Skills Bootcamp teaches you immediately actionable skills and a roadmap for you and your partner to decrease conflict and increase emotional intimacy.
- Understand what gets your way of the deeply satisfying relationship you want
- Identify when you are grounded enough to engage in challenging conversation, and when you need to take a break
- Deeply connect with you partner and receive the connection they offer.
- Identify and resolve barriers to connection learned throughout our lives
- See how self-esteem and boundaries interact to create a relational stance.
- Complain without blame and listen without reactivity.
- Start using your new relational skills right away.
